From Oviedo: take the Autovía del Cantábrico towards Santander to Llanes and then the N-634 until you come to the turning for the AS-344 to Colombres. The bedrooms, like the rest of the house, conserve the charm that welcomed personalities of Asturian culture and high society in the early 20th century and have been painstakingly refurbished to offer the utmost comfort.
What to see and do
The proximity of the sea and the Picos de Europa facilitate all kinds of activities, from hiking to canyoning, pony-trekking to cycling excursions. A stroll along the coast is a must to observe the natural spectacle of the bufones (seawater blowholes), as is a nice swim off one of the hidden, still virtually unspoilt beaches. Not to forget a visit to the Indianos Archives museum devoted to colonial emigration or to Pindal Caves.
